1995-1998 Served as a lecturer at the Faculty of General Studies and the Faculty of Law of the Haifa University. During his academic career, Dr. Ehrlich authored over 25 papers, chapters and books in the fields of Medicine, Biology, Biochemistry, Genetic Engineering, Law and Ethics.
Dr. Ehrlich was honored with the following awards: 1986 - Released from the IDF with distinction; 1987-1989; 3 conseqyutive years - The Hebrew University Deans award; 1989 - The Golda Meir award; 1990 - The Polak Family award; 1994 - The World Association of Medical Law award.
Since 1994, and after having worked as a Patent Attorney for a small patent firm in Israel for six years, Dr. Ehrlich set up his own firm, Ehrlich & Partners, in mid-2000. He immediately set out to complement his expertise with a premier staff of highly talented patent attorneys in other disciplines including, Biotech, Immunology, Agrotechnology, Bioinformatics, Pharmacology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Physics, Electronics, Electrooptics, Mechanics, Medical Devices, Computer Software, Computer Hardware, Telecommunications, Business Methods, Trademarks, Design Patents, IP Litigation Support, Breeder's Rights. Within one year, Ehrlich & Partners was the fastest growing patent attorney firm in Israel. The firm has ISO9001:2000, IQC and UKAS certification. Dr. Ehrlich has been recognized by Chambers & Partners and Managing Intellectual Property as a Band I and Tier 1 Patent Attorney in Israel, respectively, for the second consecutive year.
According to Managing Intellectual Property's Top PCT Filing firms for the year 2009, Ehrlich & Fenster files the highest number of PCT applications amongst all other Israeli firms and is ranked 30th worldwide in PCT filings for the year 2009.
In early 2008, Dr. Ehrlich founded IPTrade, Israel's leading business platform for selling unexploited hi-technology patents to an eager world of multi-national corporations seeking to grow and diversify their IP portfolios.
