Dr. Nelson joined Ehrlich & Fenster in 2013 after working for over a decade in medical device research and development in Israel.
Dr. Nelson has a training background in several subdisciplines of biology including Microbiology, Biochemistry, and an advanced degree in Neurobiology.
He is listed as author on ten academic papers published in peer-reviewed scientific journals, and co-inventor on three world-wide patents.
Additionally, his experience includes imaging and image analysis, algorithm development, and application programming.

- 1991-1997 Ph.D. degree in Neurobiology from Duke University in Durham, North Carolina.
- 1987-1991 B.S. degree in Microbiology with high distinction and honors, B.S. degree in Biochemistry with high distinction and honors, and B.A. degree in Philosophy with high distinction and honors from the University of Iowa, Iowa City, Iowa.
